Pickles is a very shy boy who loves sitting on his blanket or under the tree in the sun.

When we adopted him it was clear he’d not spent much time receiving love from a family – he craved pats but was hesitant to come for them and didn’t know what to do when he received them!

He also didn’t know how to walk on a lead and would freeze up when we tried to take him for a walk.

Over the last few years we’ve worked really hard to build his trust and teach him about being part of a family and we are pleased to say that while he’s still quiet and shy, he’s come a long way out of his shell.

And he now ABSOLUTELY LOVES going for walks with his family!
