Meet Cheeky 🤍🖤

Cheeky is a typical Chihuahua who loves spending every possible moment being close to his people. He is an affectionate, clingy boy who loves lap time, cuddles, pats, giving kisses, and being carried around everywhere like the prince he is.

Once Cheeky has found his person, he is fiercely loyal, wanting to stay by their side all the time. Because he's a bit of a velcro-dog, he does get stressed when left alone for long periods, so Cheeky will need a home where someone is around most of the time, or where he can join in on daily adventures. Cheeky will also need a home where he can be kept inside as part of the family.

Cheeky can be a bit nervous and unsure when meeting new people, so he'd do best with an experienced Chihuahua owner and a home without young children to help him feel safe and secure. Cheeky has been introduced to other small dogs at the shelter and has gotten along well with them, so he may be happy sharing his home with a friendly doggy companion as well.
