Ace is a friendly, playful dog who loves spending time with people. He thrives on human interaction and absolutely adores pats, cuddles, and being included in whatever is happening around him. As a young dog, Ace has a good basic understanding of training and already knows some of the foundations, but he will benefit from continued training and guidance to help him reach his full potential. He is eager to engage and learn, making him a great candidate for ongoing positive reinforcement training.

Ace does have some joint issues that will require ongoing management throughout his life. He will need to remain on joint supplements and may require additional veterinary care as recommended to help keep him comfortable and active. When excited, Ace can be a little jumpy as he greets people with his whole body and lots of enthusiasm. Because of this, he would be best suited to a home with older children who can comfortably handle his energetic nature while he continues to work on his manners.

Ace has tested well with other dogs and enjoys canine company. However, any resident dogs will need to come to the shelter for a meet and greet to ensure everyone is a good match before heading home together.
